Kitely Market shows detailed analytics about how users interact with a store's products. The following information is collected for each product:

  • Impressions - the product was shown in a Search page. This means that a user was exposed to the product's thumbnail.

  • Product Views - a user visited the product's Product Page.

  • Sales - the number of times the product was purchased. (If multiple copies of the product are purchased in a single order then each of the copies counts as a separate sale.)

  • Revenue - how much money the merchant earned from this product. The revenue is divided into earnings in US Dollars (USD) and Kitely Credits (KC).

  • Demo - the number of times that users sent themselves the Demo version of the product.

  • Wishlist - the number of times that users added the product to their Wish List.

Date Range

The analytics information is always shown for a specific date range (i.e., not for the entire lifetime of the store). Select the date range using the Date Picker at the top of the page.

You can view analytics in the following modes:

  • Conversion - shows the relationship between Impressions, Product Views and Sales

  • Channels - shows how users get to your products. For more information, see Analytics Channels.

  • Prices - shows the relationship between product prices and how much revenue they generated. For more information, see Analytics Prices.

Product Analytics Page

To view a product's analytics, click the Analytics link in the Product Page.

This page contains the following sections:

  • Product Summary - shows the sum of statistics for the product in the selected date range

  • Timeline - shows the number of Impressions, Product Views and Revenue in the selected date range. Since each of these statistics uses a different scale, you can't compare the statistics visually against each other in this graph. But it's useful to be able to see all of these values together in the same timeline.

  • Variations - shows the distribution of sales among the product's variations

  • Top Grids - shows the top grids (by revenue) to which the product was delivered

  • Timeline Details - shows similar information to the Timeline graph, but this time in the form of a table. Click on the columns to change the sort order.

Product Price

One of the fields in the "Detailed Statistics" table is called Price. This field requires a bit of explanation. Often it isn't possible to name a single price for a product, because the product can have multiple variations, each with their own price. Furthermore, each of the variations could have had its price change several times during the selected date range. Despite this, it's useful to show the product price in some way, to make it easy to see at a glance whether cheap products sell better than expensive products, or whether changing the price affects sales.

This page shows the sum of statistics for all of the store's products. It contains the following graphs:

  • Store Summary - shows the sum of statistics for all of the products in the store, in the selected date range

  • Timeline - contains the same information as the "Timeline" graph for individual products (see above), but this time it's the sum of all of the store's products.

  • Top Categories - shows the categories whose products have produced the most revenue

  • Top Grids - shows the top grids (by revenue) to which the store's products were delivered

  • Products - shows statistics for each of the store's products. Only products that existed in the selected date range are shown in this table. If a product has been deleted then it's shown in red.
